SAFETY
Accident Prevention Program
Arc Electric places a high value on the safety of its employees, and is committed to ensuring a safe workplace. The firm’s accident prevention and safety program outlines discrete responsibilities for managers, supervisors, and employees with the goal of identifying and eliminating hazards before they develop.
The firm’s philosophy is that no task is so important that an employee must violate a safety rule or risk their personal well-being in order to get the job done. Employees are required to comply with all safety rules and are encouraged to participate in identifying ways to make our organization a safer place to work.
Supervisors are responsible for the safety of their employees and as a part of their daily duties must check the workplace for unsafe conditions, watch employees for unsafe actions, and take prompt action to eliminate any hazards.
Management devotes the resources needed, and promotes participation in an internal safety committee. This committee develops and refines Arc Electric’s system for identifying and correcting hazards. Management plans for foreseeable emergencies, and provides ongoing accident prevention training for employees and supervisors.
